Despite producing high-quality disposable face masks in India, Thea-Tex Healthcare received a response that was below their expectations, when they launched their Filtra brand on Amazon. They have been producing masks for some of the largest FMCG corporations in India and abroad, yet they could not convey their standards to the audience on online shops. The reason, of course, was improper branding and poor product packaging design for their disposable face mask brand.
We started from the logo. We redesigned the logo to retain its core visual identity, but made it look structurally stronger and confident.
We then completely revamped the product packaging. We created a design layout that can stay consistent throughout the entire range of different masks that Thea-Tex have under the Filtra brand. With the new design language, we could change the product packaging design to related itself with the product in contains inside.
Thea-Tex also introduced the Filtra Masks in convenient pouches for pharmacies and retails stores.
Filtra masks for kids have a special packaging since the masks are available in prints and variety of colours. The cartons have a cutout window on top while the pouches have semi-transparent windows so that the product can be identified. So, the Kid's range uses the same packaging for all the colours and prints it has.
